but my all-time favorite in the dumb tariff category has to be the 15 percent tariff on unicycles. One wonders which clown set that.

Nah, the info in that link must be wrong because it's the opposite of what Notch says. He'll be along in a minute to point out the error of your ways.

The article in that link is wrong because its total bollards......seriously fillyboy, do your research and stop regurgitating misinformation.
Almost all African nations get to export to EU with 0% tariff under the EBA -everything but arms initiative.
Some of the tariffs mentioned would not apply because of the GSP -generalised scheme of preferences
EBA means that the 49 of the world’s poorest countries can export products to the EU free of the tariffs that the article is attacking. The developing countries beyond the EBA are in GSP or GSP+. Bangladesh is a well known clothing producer – as an EBA country it has no duties or quotas on its clothing exports to the EU.
So the article is disingenuous by conflating tariffs intended for exports from rich countries whilst waving a flag for poor countries but failing to mention that the poor countries in the EBA see no such tariffs
Usual fake news written by a right wing, neo liberal think tank that gets its funding from big business including fossil fuel interests.
Its the IEA a total s hitjob of a think tank. A complete and utter joke. It will say the moon is made of cheese if you pay them enough.

These think tanks all lead back to the same names.
Surprise surprise, they all connect to Tory donors and or Tory MPs.
I have a bad feeling that 'vested interests' will control the UK for the next 5 or possibly 10 years. I
wonder how much damage will be done in that time.

Well the IMF Boss criticised the growing inequality in the UK and Brexit will just exacerbate that.
These Brexiters will be crying in 10 years time when their car factories are wastelands, they can't afford to pay for private healthcare as their condition is not not covered on the NHS.
It will have a few winners and lot more losers. People will just accept it as the new normal and Brexiteers will accept it because it would be worse under the EU.

Why don't you do something really really clever and worthwhile, why don't you dig up the figures for pay and wealth inequality in the UK, particularly the percentage in the pay difference between CEO's and employees in 1973, the year we joined the EU, and the same figures for today.
You won't do it will you?, because it will make you look stupid.
Dumbo again. The policies that have exacerbated this have been the neo liberal ones by the Gov, so thats 27yrs of Tory policies and counting.
Please tell me how the EU has increased income inequality in the UK.
Ad hom attack without responding to the pointThe eu is a failed experemint. You were conned and you fell for it hook, line and sinker.
