I’m in the process of choosing a profile system for my windows. I wanted to know which manufacturer is better in terms of quality and u value.

I have some quotes for Eurocell Logik and Modus and Aluplast Ideal 70 and Aluplast 4000. I wanted to know from these profiles which is the best in terms of energy efficiency, security and quality. Are there any other manufacturers that are good? I have heard Deceuninck are really good as well. Does anyone know how they compare to other brands like Eurocell or Aluplast?

There's not a lot between uPVC profiles if anything as they are pretty much the same, there's no real bad ones and there's no stand outs. As we say in the trade it's all in the fitting, a poor window fitted well is better than a good window fitted poorly.

As for U values then they all have to meet the minimum though some might slightly better than others but don't get hung up on U values as even the worst will still be good. U values can be found on each manufacturers websites.

Oh ok thank you. I’m just confused as to which product to go for. Both are same price Aluplast ideal 4000 and Eurocell Logik
