Eurosec CP8L dead - where to start

We have a Eurosec CP8L alarm, with two keypads.
A few days ago, the main keypad by the front door was completely dead, nothing on screen and buttons not working.
Went and checked the keypad in garage and that was the same.

A few days later, and we've discovered a leak above the garage, now resolved. And you've guessed it, its directly above the garage keypad.
The alarm box itself is in the loft, so will not be affected, the only water ingress will be to the 2nd keypad.

Everything now drying out.
The main control box in the loft has a single green LED on the front.

What is the likely prognosis for this?

My understanding is that it has several fuses, so I'm guessing check them first. However, I'm keen to NOT set the actual alarm off, something that hasn't happened up until now. Or could it actually just sort itself out when the keypad dries out? Or could that set the alarm off if I do nothing?

Disconnect garage keypad , there should be a 680 ohm resistor at the last keypad that needs moving if it’s fitted at the garage keypad ( across 12v and D1)
Check fuses in panel probably 2 of
F1 1A quick blow
F2 250ma quick blow
See if the alarm now works , check garage keypad for water damage ( you might get away with cleaning the pcb with meths and a soft toothbrush , then leave to dry out

OK, the keypad definitely had water in it. Terminals looked corroded, but board looked OK.
However, through the joys of being a hoarder I remembered that years ago I bought a replacement with the intention of swapping our main unit as one of the buttons was sticky.

So I have replaced the keypad. I've not touched the main unit yet. What order should I do stuff now, to avoid any risk of stuff going off?

Power cycle it and see what happens when it is powered on?
Power it off (which I'd need to do before checking fuses anyway) - would this cause an activation?
Get some fuses before I do anything - are you able to tell me what physical size they will be, so I can have some ready for when I open the unit up?

Just pop a fuse in …. Also replace back up battery if it more than 5 years old while your in there…
