EUROSEC CP8L remove damaged sensor from zone

Finally rerouted the alarm cables under the floorboards (previous occupant had then attached to picture rails and skirts)

Anyhow, one zone has 3x pir in series. The middle pir had a delaminated capacitor that fell out whe I took the case apart. Burn marks in the case

So this sensor is in the middle a series on sensors.

Both the whites are joined.
Both the yellows are joined.

Both reds are joined and in the +ve terminal.
Both blacks are joined and in the -ve terminal.

The two blues are connected to each terminal marked N/C (Normally Closed?)

The greens are connected to each terminal marked 24H

I'd like to remove this sensor until the new ones arrive.

I'll use a choc block to connect up, like splicing together a cable.

Does the N/C remain closed, and opens when the PIR is triggered?

What do the greens (24H) do?

Twist the two wires n/c together to complete circuit.
Twist the two wires 24hr together to complete circuit. This is temporary fix will new put arrives.
Tamper circuit protects the system from being tampered with, taking covers off devices or cutting cables.This will cause a notification at the control panel.

What's the purpose of the N/C and 24H? Is the first the sensor, the second the anti tamper?

Yes, mildy alarmed about the fire hazard aspect.

Obviously generated a fair bit of heat - enough to melt solder and pit / blacken the case.

As a precaution, and aesthetics (the pir's in this zone are old and have yellowed) are replacing then all.

Other zones have newer pirs so maybe this isn't the first to go.

Mind you...have replaced a texecom 3e bellbox pcb today that was red hot ....
What pirs are they ? Look like c&k ...
