Of course, every retailer has a cut-off point whereby returning the item is no longer permitted without contacting them, apologies if you thought I meant otherwise but actually even then it's still pretty simple, you just have to go through a 15min chat to get there, I suppose being sat at a PC all day for work anyway it's never been much of a chore for me.There is truth to both sides of this story.
For a limited time, you have access to a returns button on the goods you order from Amazon.
Then it disappears.
So if you have reason to return an item within the guarantee period, you cannot, without contacting Amazon and requesting a return.
This is why you see a lot of reviews saying something like, "could not return it so it went in the bin."
Nah still not getting it, I've had problems with items and been able to return it no problems. Sure you have to enter a chat or get them to ring you but why is that anymore onerous than elsewhere? Good luck getting that done at Curries!FMT I think I’ve been experience what the posted was actually meaning too. With Amazon you have 30 days return window, and you literally can return anything in any state during that time.
But once that window closes it’s very opaque and difficult to arrange a return/repair/replacement for something that should carry a warranty - an electrical item for example for the remaining 11 months of a standard warranty.
You can do it, but they make it hard...not just like the button click or two in the returns window.

Mine was a cookbook, The Burmese Kitchen, for 13.95 in 2000.BTW, it seems my very first order from Amazon was The Goonies DVD for £9.49.![]()
Glad you’ve had better experience that I have...I would much rather go to curries and speak to a person, most people are helpful if you engage correctly.Nah still not getting it, I've had problems with items and been able to return it no problems.
