Exposed grounding coming from shower switch

Recently had a new electric shower installed with new switch in the cupboard outside the bathroom. The grounding cable is exposed for about 2cm coming out of the switch, is this safe/ok

No its really poor, the brown and blue and earth shouldn't visible.

Then why was it removed?
If it's the earth wire hanging out then it really points to the whole installation of it being suspected of being very shoddy and electrically unsafe.
