Hi all,
I intend to extend this cable as a new double socket has been fitted which requires a longer length of cable to reach it.

What connection should I use for this ?
Secondly : is 1mm2 heat resistant cable suitable with 3 pin attached ?

Thanks

Thanks a lot guys.

Out of interest if I had a gas installer do this job and plum in a gas hob into a worktop at the same time, how much should I expect to pay ?
I've already made the cut out for the gas hob into the worktop.

Well if you don`t hire on estimates you need to ask for a fixed price quotation, that way the price is pretty much fixed and can only vary with very few conditions. However an estimate should gen be within +/- 10%. Most fixed price quotations are gen more expensive than estimates so you would often lose out anyway.

You certainly would do with mine, I only give estimates except for local/county council works. Never been a problem
