I have a texecom alarm and one of the devices on this system is an outdoor door contact. I am re situating this door and hence, need a longer cable. It is not possible to feed a new one. Is there a reliable way to extend these cables? What method should I be using?

Thanks in advance.

Are Jelly Crimps suitable for this? I can situate them in a IP65 box.

An alarm junction box (inside the house or ip box), with a tamper connection is the correct way, but you can use whatever you like, jellies, bullets etc. in a ip65 box as it should stay dry, providing you use glands and bottom entry the cables.
