Extending cable on extractor fan install

I have seen similar in the past fitted by others and T cutted off the logo, carefull not to scratch it, it is then not so obvious to the eye that its wrong,

Personally id drill and re enter the cable elsewhere and if needbe you can extend the cores within the unit
