I have a client who has a shower arm about 12" in length poking out the bathroom wall, curving through 90degrees to a nice shower head. Now she wants the arm extending in length to about 20-30" (with some form of support to the ceiling) and I cannot find any "standard" shower arms in this kind of length, presumably because of the massive strain a much longer arm would place on the wall mounting and plumbing attach. The supply pipe is buried in the wall, so reluctant to pull it all out and go into the attic, up and over then back into the bathroom with a vertical, ceiling mounted arm.
