I'm having a single floor extension built onto the back of my house, it is a conservatory type, no change to structural walls of house. Do I need to tell my mortgage lender? If so is it likely to change to mortgage terms (I'm happy with the mortgage and do not want to change it).

I understand I need to tell my insurers (not the same company as the mortgage people). Have planning permission and bc permission.

No, as it is improving your property and they can make more money if you fail to keep up the payments. ;) ;) Happy New Year.
