Hi guys,

Got a crack where my single story bathroom extension joins the main house.
Planning on using a crack repair kit (the ones that include metal rods etc) but don't want to buy the kit when I can buy rods and grout separately. One kit states the grout is 'cementitious grout' another 'anchor grout', is this fundamentally a cement grout? Or do I need to buy something more specialised? Could someone please point me in the direction of the cheapest option?

Any help would be massively appreciated, cheers

If this is the vertical joint of an extension to the main house, then those rods are the wrong type of repair.

Anyway, the grout is an epoxy grout not just cement

What would you recommend?

Think it's being caused by damaged mortar on the ridge above, causing water to seep into the cavity.
