any feedback on the best paints out there for painting the outside house walls that take a fair amount of weathering,roller application is preferred if possible

Johnstone's Stormshield water based smooth masonry finish.

It doesn't say "Trade" on the bucket but - don't let that put you off. ;)
 
As above plus Crown Stronghold, Sandtex trade are both very good too.

Dulux..I find terrible the white just doesn't cover...and in general its all very thin..it skins over in the tray in a mateer of minutes on a warm day and theres a lot of flecks from the roller too..best avoided IMO

Also, if using water based masonary then make 100% sure you have cleaned of all dirt & mildew, as water based allows this mildew to grow into the paint........................
