sounds to me like labour only.

external rendering is a highly specialised and highly skilled form of plastering.
board skimmers who claim to be plasterers have not got a clue, and do not deserve to be called plasterers.

there is a highly skilled plasterer on the forum called roughcaster who may be able to advise. ;)

I would say that is probably only labour, I would work on between £30-£45 per metre...Is there any beads, or bell-drips to fit whats the background to be rendered?

cheers noseall.in answer to roy c yes there are alot of bell drips to fix ,over windows and just off floor all way round house plus to external angles.and as far as i am aware the background is red brick.so you reckon about £30 sqm would be fair ?

how should we know how some one else arrives at a figure.

I suggest you ask where you got the information from

It may be some european person using stuff off the back of a lorry.

There used to be a forum rule (9) that said something like, dont ask for quotes, because any thing given is for amusement of posters. Some one then added the best one.

cant see it cant quote it

admin saw fit to remove this rule, but most think that doing this was a bad idea

Thanks for posting that picture breezer. laughed for ages. - bogan

alas Breezer parted company with the forum back in april never to be heard of since. :(
