My bathroom has a duct made of 110mm soilpipe built into the wall, with the socket end facing the room.

The old manrose fan had a round spigot, nominally 100mm, which was an easy fit.

The new one is nominally 100mm, but the spigot has protrusions in the moulding for cables or something, and is longer, so although it will pass into the socket, it will not go into the rest of the pipe far enough for the fan body to push against the wall.

I have a few different makes of fan, they all have the same problem (downstairs I was able to hammer the pipe out of the wall and saw it back a bit, but the bathroom is on the second floor and the wall is tiled). I tried the fans with correct round duct from a kit, and the same thing happens.

Does anyone know a modern quiet fan with a true 100mm spigot?
