Thanks guys. I found these guys through a website called myconstructor. They had good reviews for this electrician. I'll use checkatrade to find someone else to do it.

It took me 3 years to get removed from Check a Trade as a washing machine engineer, their staff didn't understand why I wanted to be removed as I had good reviews... for jobs I hadn't done.
As far as I'm concerned that site is as useful as a chocolate fire guard in hell.

It does list tradesmen to avoid.

It does list tradesmen to avoid.

But it also listed me and additionally under a completely irrelevant category with fictitious feedback. Even worse they could not identify how or why I got on there and used the GDPR chestnut.

Sorry but if they can be so so wrong about me and drag out removing me for 3 years, it really does make me wonder how many more entries are just as false.
