is this fitted correctly? its a double rad, earth coming from a fused spur extractor fan i belive.

looks like a trip hazard for one thing!
should it be shorter and fixed to the 2nd rad panel behonde the front one or has it got to fitted to the front panel.
Firstly - what room is this in? If it's not a bathroom you don't need it at all.
If it is a bathroom you still don't need it if the main bonding is OK, the rad and pipes are effectively connected to it and all the circuits in the bathroom are RCD protected.
If you do need it , it can be on the back.
It can also be on the pipe, and it can be somewhere nearby that's accessible, e.g. an airing cupboard, as long as the pipework is all copper.
If you are renovating, and can drain the CH down then you could cut the pipe and put one of these in:

then it can be hidden away under the floor.
Basically there's a lot you can do to get rid of that eyesore.

Can also clean the green residue of the copper fittings! That will be an improvement! Though it does looks like it's ready to pop anyway!

If you fit an end-feed one I strongly suggest soldering both ends, not just one as in their video.

and do that before you crimp the cable!
So you can add solder, blow torch, heat mat, flux, wire wool, fire extinguisher and wipes to your tool kit!
so no comments on a pro sparky leaving that amount of cable attached to the rad?
common sense tells me if he was in a hurry, a few inchs of cable attached to the second panel behinde the front one would of been much better place to attatch the earth, rather then a trailing trip hazzard.
