Faulty bulb

Hi Folks

The bulb in my bedroom went out earlier today.

I replaced it with a new one but the light still never came on.

Does that mean that the whole unit would need to be replaced?

Check your new bulb is not a dud by trying it elsewhere. Otherwise look for a loose connection in the switch or the bayonet fitting.
