Faulty cooker or supply?

Chaps: I would just like to thank you all for the help and assistance you have all offered me on this issue.

It is much appreciated.
 
As recommended I called a spark in to identify the fault. It turned out to be the cooker socket that was at fault. He replaced the wall mounted socket and all is now fine.

Thanks again for all the advice.
