Fax over Broadband

I have installed Windows fax program on XP computer but this still asks for a dial up connection. In these days of wireless broadband surely there is a means of sending fax uther than running a wired dialup line. Any help appreciated

Fax are sent on the telephone side of your line, not the broadband. You must be hard wired to the phone socket for the dialup modem to dial out and set up the fax connection.
