hmm it seems odd that there is a 10A fuse in there.

how big is this TV? what type? and is there anything printed on the back about its power consumption?

It actually right upto the celing. Yeah I could put the socket as close as I could to the ceiling without the use of trunking. It's all coming together now. Ahhh! I've got to run an aerial to the tele, I could run this in some thin trunking couldn't I.

I,ve just checked the power consumption and it states in the manual that maximum is 45W and Power Saving is <3W

I pressume I just run 1.5mm T&E from the ceiling rose to do this?
