how thick is febond blue grit?

I am using it over artex and then skimming over it,

Some of the artex protudes quite far from the wall but i don't want to scrape it

Would dampening the artex before scraping be safe before potentially scraping high points off?- ie. not release asbestos?

cheers

Bluegrit won't fill the valleys if thats what you were hoping.
For 20 odd quid its may be worth getting it tested as you could be worrying unnecessarily and if negative could bash it off .
If Artex is painted it may not absorb water to soften it

Can you point me in the right direction to get it tested for £20? Can't find anywhere online
