feed and return of vertical

Hi I have a vertical melano rad to install pic attached of image in red is what I am going for. Just so I am sure is the green arrows pointing towards the inlet the feed and the green arrow pointing away the return?

I dont know what a baffle means...not seen anyone else fits these for this, maybe its to be extra cautious.

I noticed the water was black when I emptied old rads...the boiler was just replaced by a pro plumber, so will I need to add cleaner to the last rad when ready ?

If you " just" had a boiler fitted ,the system should have been cleansed before the new boiler was fitted.
The baffle in vertical rads would usually be fitted by manufacturer ,or at the very least be available from them. Some vertical rads do not require a baffle ,but your pic / installation info specifically advises one if both bottom ports are used.

You should contact the manufacturer / supplier to obtain the one that they supply for their specific model.
