I've had a few quotes that mention this model, but it seems ridiculously priced - £440

Anyone know why its so cheap?

I agree, it's cheap. Perhaps they're now coming down to the real world prices. Most Mitsubishi stuff is just silly money, for fairly low tech gear.
The think with new well insulated properties, the split unit market will take of.

Glad to see they're using R410A.

Please pop up a link for these units at that price, the best I've seen is £580. Thanks mate.
 
Looks good, have you had any quotes for the install?? As that's just the split unit, no lineset etc.

That'll do the business OK, but a London install could be another £1K.

Not quite enough power for cooling in the summer of a reasonable size room.
Need something like 3.5kw of cooling.
 
rooms are quite small, north facing, reckon they'll do. Been quoted £2k for 3, supply & fitting. in London. too good?
