Have you got one, any good?

I've been told they are ideal for trimming the bottom of the door but looking at the width of the blade I'm not sure?

Yes, yes and yes (really). If you get one try to get the ne bi-metallic blades as they last longer.

Can you trim the bottom of the door in one goes or is it in & out on the side?

Also I've noticed the saw blade disc below, is it the same as a small circular saw and yet the other blade are difference

We frequently use the Feinmaster for cutting doorposts and architrave, not for cutting doors to new height (will cost a lot of blades and takes a long time, we use plunge circular saw for that - Festool).
Feinmaster is also very handy when installing herringbone or other parquet pattern to cut the last corners of the installed blocks of before installing the border, plus sanding the little corners an edge sander can't reach (and I'm sure my partner has found many other praticall use for this machine)
One of the better 'investments' we did.

(p.s. do you know it was originally a surgeons tool?)
