A driving instructor with a flourescent vest on in the car. WTF! When i was in the plod we used to detest being made to wear those things, we used common sense. What is it now, is it a fashion statement or do people feel powerful when theyve got them on?

Examiners wear them. I think its so instructors can see them and know not to make their client try any manoeuvres in the vicinity, as they have to give way to people under examination.

no im not thank god. i still keep in touch with my old mates though. Amazing how many want to give up or go abroad as theyre banging their heads against brickwalls.

Nah seriously...I feel for them, I know a load, and they are all frustrated by petty paper work and limp wriste judges.

Must be soul destroying...to do all that work and then see some piece of vermin get let off and then do the same thing over again.
