I just use the pattern feature to unlock my phone.

1) I don't have sensitive data on my phone except from WhatsApp and DIYnot.

2) My phone is always with me and someone stealing/snatching it away from me is impossible.

Things like date of birth and email are a form of data that I don't want a stranger knowing. I also don't want my account gone.

For the websites you can trust, I don't really see a problem. I do have a internet birthdate and email which I do use for other websites.

For the websites you can trust, I don't really see a problem

It's not about trust - it's about when the information you have provided to these sites gets stolen and used elsewhere.
The same reason why all passwords must be unique and never reused anywhere.
