Fiesta ABS warning light

Hi folks , I have an 05 Fiesta style with 24,000 on the clock. A couple of days ago I had to brake a bit sharpish, I felt the ABS doing it`s job through the pedal. However, a day or so later the ABS warning light came on and has been on ever since. Typical! as it is due its first MOT this month. Any ideas guys....

Probably one of the wheel sensors playing up.
You really need to get it plugged in to a scanner to find out where the problem lies though

Hi neo . Thanks for your reply. I have now started to get a rumbling noise as if the pads are catching on the discs this noise fades away when I apply the brakes. I have removed both wheels today but nothing appears to be wrong. Looks like a trip to the local Ford Dealers in the morning for a sharp intake of breath.. .. thanks again..

Turns out it was a wheel bearing, and the bonus part for me was I just caught the end of the warranty so it cost me £000.00p cheers for your help..
