I returned from abroad after 6 months, and found the boiler pressure was low, so I used the filling loop (near the boiler) to increase the pressure. I used to have to do this every couple of months, as we must have a minor leak somewhere.
When I opened the filling loop valve it started spurting out water everywhere in small thin shoots, as if it had been pierced with a pin several times.
Could it be the wing nuts that need tightening? I don't want to try anything before asking someone who knows.
Anyone any idea why? Should I replace the filling loop? & how do I go about it?
Any help appreciated please, in simple language, for simple guy!
I've uploaded pictures of the filling loop in case they're of any help.
