do you go from call point to all the sounders to all smoke detectors and go back to the control panel for 1 zone

normaly you just wire from unit to unit, in whatever order you want them.. one cable in, one cable out.. ..

the system you choose may have different wiring directions..

There is no answer possible until you tell us what system it is.

Who's panel & detectors would help.

It is generally best to keep detectors and alarms on separate circuits but ISTR that they can technically go on a single pair of wires.

The units will be addressable & data & power are down the same 2 cores.

2 wire system as I know them are conventional fire alarm systems which has the sounders wired onto the zone (Savwire)

If this is what your planning then you'd simply wire from the control panel in and out of each device, when you reach the end of the circuit a End Of Line resistor will be fitted (supplied with panel)

Remember you need to get the in's and out's round the correct way else removing a detector head could leave the rest of the system not working

If your planning an addressable system then yes the sounders can be wired onto the loop but this isn't what I'd call a 2 wire system
