Firebird C26 repeated lock out

Hello,

Could anyone please point me in the right direction with diagnosing my most recent issue with my Firebird C26 (Riello RDB2.2)?

For the last month the boiler has been locking out every 2 days ish. Prior to each lock out the the boiler works as it should with no obvious symptoms.

Each time it locks out I’m able to reset it and everything is again OK for a couple of days.

Recently this is happening more often and today it’s now locking out after only 30mins.

I’m guessing at an intermittent failing fuel pump or blocked filter, does this sound plausible?

Check for blocked filters first, and then suspect the oil Pump solenoid or maybe dirty photocell.
