firefox query

i have had mozilla firefox browser set on my pc by my friendly pc bod.apparently my pc had issues with the other browser!!
I belong to a couple of bike clubs that have web sites and forums, but since having firefox, i cant copy a link and paste it on the web site so that is 'live' to be clicked on by other users to take them to the linked site.(hope you know what i mean) It just pastes it in text. i used to be able to do it using the buttons on the mouse but now i have to go to the 'edit' on the top.

is it me doing something wrong or is there a setting buried somewhere that will enable me to paste live links

I've also had problems with copy/paste from firefox, I copy, then go to paste and theres nothing on the clipboard. I've found that if you do it a couple of times it will work, I've also found that right click/copy and then paste works better than ctrl c/v. I havnt really looked into it, until now I thought it was me as it doesnt always happen!

I tried firefox and had a variety of problems. I use Avant Browser now and can highly recommend it.
