First CH Switch-on Since Spring

Its chilly here in the province but my heating is off.

Chilly here in Brizzle too. Managed to sabotage the room stat for now, but only a matter of time before 'Er Indoors manages to hack into the ch.

Wimps, I had my heating on back in August............................. only so the gas bod could do his test's during its annual service.

should have been in my last place, didn't have any heating apart from an open fire. Someone even thought it was a bit quaint and cozy, well... it wasn't it was hard work dirty and bloody cold.

No heating on here yet, block of flats, let the others heat it!!

Just returned from Reykjavik and its colder here than it was there!!!!

Mine went on Tuesday, very low though only set to 12 so that it warms the bathroom for my early morning ablutions!!

In the evenings we tend to use blankets over us whilst watching TV or snuggle up in the lounge.
