Hi,

I'm planning on fitting a shower pump to my system, it's an open vented hot water system and I'm planning on pumping two showers with thermostatic valves. For the pump I was going to get a Stuart Turner Monsoon Twin S3.0 (Positive Head) pumping hot and cold from the CWST.

Reading the manual (http://www.stuart-turner.co.uk/medi...gle-and-Twin-ShowerPump-WholeHousePump-IG.pdf) it seems to recommend a Surrey (Stuart) flange, Essex flange or an off expansion pipe.

At present I have pipework coming off at a horizontal and a T in there that supplies a shower, then it continues on to the vent and rest of the hot water taps.

I have ordered a Stuart Top Entry Flange (http://www.stuart-turner.co.uk/products/accessories/top-entry-flange/). However it looks like my cylinder has a 1" male tapping, rather than a 1" female tapping, so I assume I can't use this?

Is there any other flange I can use as I don't really fancy drilling into my cylinder or adjusting the pipework to incorporate an off expansion?

Change the cylinder,so many benefits of having a new cylinder (y)

Did you ever come up with the solution Synforge?

I ended up going for an off expansion pipe in the end, and just drawing from half way up that. It was way less work for me and is still one of the recommendations within the manual. So far I've been running it for a few months with no issues.

Thanks Synforge. That's the option I was leaning towards. Frustrating that there's not a flange based option for these kind of tanks
, however...
