The lights I have bought have a transformer for each pair of lights. Can I take a radial power source from the lighting circuit for each pair of lights, and does each one need to be fused down to say 3 amps? Can I run 6 lamps off one radial power source and can all lamps run through a single transformer? Or do I need to to set these up on a parallel circuit? Thanks - any guidance would be appreciated (I know about part P and that I'll need these inspected).

All domestic lighting is run in parallel, not series.

What size is the cable and circuit breaker of the circuit you are wiring them into?

What is the total wattage of your kit?

It's a 6 amp circuit breaker, the cable is standard domestic lighting wire 1mm. There are 6 lights, each of 60w.

360W @ 230V = 1.57A

What else is on the circuit? You are allowed diversity (ie it is unlikely all lights will be on at the same time) of 66%.
