will be fitting a new kitchen in a few weeks, and have a corner wall unit and base unit to fit, however in the same corner i have my hot and cold water pipes running floor to ceiling.

Any options on the best / quickest way to fit, kitchen deigner suggester cutting the back corner off the units to fit flush but then he was a bit of a plank any help much appreciated.

red - it depends on the space between the pipe nearest the return wall. If the distance is greater than the thickness of the material used for the carcases, then a couple of cut-outs on the base shelf INSIDE the caracse will work. The carcase is then pushed-up hard against the return wall. You can't cut the corner off 'cos that'll affect structural ridgidity unless you modify (re-structure) that corner.

i'm going to have a similiar problem , my pipes are pretty much tight up against the end wall , just were the wall fixing should go, so will not be possible to hang at the left hand side, have been advised to fasten battens onto wall, but not quite sure what is meant , i know what a batten is but can't see how it will help.Cheers WW.

I would spend a few hours and chase the pipes into the wall and get a flush plaster finish
