The first floor bay will be supported by a rsj which will be going in after the roof has gone up along with a rsj across the back of house with 2 smaller pieces attaching them together to take the sides of they bay

Perhaps a link to your planning permission on the council web site which will show drawings and make things clear , at present seems to be a mucking fuddle.
