I trying to install a fixed arm shower. The arm is a right angle with a thread on each end. The shower head fits to one end and a compression joint to the other. I can't see how the arm is seured to the wall, can anyboy help, is there a special fitting that can be purchased? Nothing has been supplied with the shower. The insturctions just say "using a suitable" adaptor!

You could use a 15mm female iron compression connector, this should do it.

Thanks crocket, have found a female joint in screw fix. The compression joint does not come with a washer, does it need one or do you just need PTFE tape?

Head off to your local merchant and ask for a chrome wall plate elbow.
