Hi all, I thought I would join a forum for DIY.

I've been getting damp in the bedroom and after investigating in the loft it looks like the felt at the eaves has rotted. I have two questions to ask.
First, is it feasible to fit Eaves Trays on a Yorkshire Grey slate roof?

And, if I were to remove a few slates from the point of dampness up to the third row, how can the top slate be made good?

Thanks folks, any help appreciated.

He could not hit the hook because he still had his sunglasses on  Alistair those slates can easily be 4' square at the bottom and you cannot use a slate ripper. You could probably just slide the eaves trays in, but why is water getting into your roof ?
