I'm going to be putting up some plasterboard on to a partition wall.

I was just wondering, what's the 'prefered' method of fixing plasterboard on to a wooden frame. Screw or nail?

The issue I have is that I'm only putting up no more than 4 sheets of board & the screw packs come in packs of 1000! I wont need more than 50!

So, would nails be a better alternative?

Cheers.

When I got some 200 in the shed were the same price as 1000 (Might have been 2000 - big box) from Toolstation.

When I needed some I thought much the same - that's a lot of screws to buy. But they've slowly gone down and down and been useful for all sorts of jobs.
