I will need to fix my toilet system and sink (which on a pedistall) to the wall which is made of light weight Aerated Blocks.

I like things to be very secure and can imagine this will be problem, can anyone let me know of a proven way to get a good fixing to the wall. (one that will not let me down over time.)

Thanks

I personally prefer hardened self drilling screws - i.e those that are designed to drive into aerated block with no plugs. I find these very secure and they are very easy to use. Just make sure they are long enough.

drill a 6mm hole and use brown plugs with 2.5 or 3 inch 10,s. you could even use 12's if these don't bite well.
