Explain how that differs from being a proud Brit please and I'll comment on those differences, if you like.
When im on holiday and im asked where im from I say England, do you not?

Nothing wrong with being a proud Brit im one of those aswell, you can be proud of two things....can't you?
 
Take sports for example when Andy Murray won Wimbledon I was British, when he lost I was English.. :LOL:

Most people ask where in the UK we are rather than what country. If I'm asked regards official form filling etc, what country I reside in, there is NEVER an 'England' option, no.

That's because you don't know any different. A lot of the poorly educated scaffolders I ski with say the same (when asked by officials) until someone politely tells them the correct answer.

You're the only person I know who (i think) was born in England but doesnt like to called English.
