Yes, if the flags are meant to signify anti-Muslim feeling.

There is no doubt in my mind that some of them are. It is no coincidence that they are being displayed now when tensions against Muslims are so high.

It is very complicated, because nice genuinely patriotic English/British people like you are just happy to see the flag.

But I believe others are also using them for more sinister purposes.
