Hi,
I'm looking for flexible metal cable similar to that used in this product:
http://www.mightybright.com/Book_Lights/79/ProductDetail.html

The cable has a flexible metal sleeve which can be manipulated into whatever shape you want and holds its shape.
Can anyone tell me what this cable is called? I've been searching online for days and I haven't found anything similar Sad

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Often see that type of lamp referred to as "Goose Neck".
I have seen it available from the likes of CPC where you can feed a cable up the inside for use with a mic, maybe a bit bigger than the stuff in the pic tho.

Spark123: Thanks I'm having a look for 'Goose Necks' now ;)

ban-all-sheds: I have some LEDs which I'm powering from USB which I want to attach to my Logitech camera for a face recognition project I'm working on.
The LEDs have to be mounted in a flexible way so that they can be adjusted to eliminate shadows on the subject's face.

Thanks for your help guys :)

Lol, cheers ColJack :) but these are too short. I need the cables to be at least 30cm long so that they can be positioned at an angle that doesn't reflect light into the camera from the eyes.
I've already wired up some LEDs to run off USB. I just want some flexible cables :)

Hi

Have a look here - they already have lamps in but I'm sure you can dismantle them if necessary.

They go up to 18"
