Not impressed with this
........installed two and a half years ago and connected to a tap on a pedestal washbasin. Fortunately it 'split' on a Saturday morning when we were in and heard the water rushing . It was installed in a downstairs cloakroom. Non the less a considerable quantity of water was discharged via the split before we realised.
The connector followed a gentle curve and was not kinked or twisted. It looks like the braid has unravelled and then the rubber pipe inside has inflated like a balloon until it split.
Is this a common occurrence? should I be worried about the others? I would have been horrendous if the split occurred whilst we were out.
