Our pop up basin waste has fallen apart and I want to replace it with one of those swivel top/flip top wastes. Prices range from less than a tenner to over £85. Some have rubber seals, some don’t. Which is best - can anyone recommend one?

Oddly enough, the internal gubbins of my pop up waste broke free and lodged in the U bend. I took the U bend off, removed the broken bit and refitted everything. I unscrewed the plug and dropped that into the hole and it actually works exactly like a flippy waste so problem solved. For now!
