Hi,
I'm laying laminate flooring. I've laid some a while back. My question is about which direction I should lay them. In the other room I laid them longways AWAY from the window (short ends towards the window) the way they recommend but is there any reason NOT to lay them the other way - HORIZONTALLY away from the light source?
Hope I've explained that well!
Much appreciated.

'Going wiht the light' means you don't create fals shade with the boards, specially when the boards are bevelled, or when you have (tiny) high differences.
But in hte end it's personal choice (or if the situation doesn't allow you to install it this way).

Thanks Woodyoulike.
I'm not going to go with how they recomend as I like it running the other way.
Much appreciated.
