flow/pressure question

15mm copper tube approx 10m long, 2bar pressure at inlet,

my question is what would the flow of water be in Litres per min ??

Any body got a formula for this (to save me looking through all my old plumbing books)

Usually you just look up this sort of thing in a table relevant to the types of pipes used for plumbing. The formulas tend to have all sorts of assumptions and approximations, but you can use Hazen-Williams if you like. Google it and you'll find online calculators, since the formula itself is a bit messy to try and write in this forum.

Your example is a little odd since flow rates would normally be calculated from a head loss or pressure differential. I'll just assume zero pressure at the open end of your 10m pipe. You should get about 50l/min through the pipe.

If this is an existing problem on an installation you're trying to sort out for some reason use a bucket and stopwatch. Or run 10m HP2o and find out.

Not trying to be a smart arse just simple is sometimes easier.
