Currently my flue (Weissman Vitodens 100) leaves the boiler vertically, and immediately turns 90 degrees to be horizontal, at which point it exits the house. The boiler is installed in the garage.
The exhaust plume/gases/steam from the flue, are triggering a PIR on some lights we have, so I thought no problem, I can probably easily/cheaply extend/redirect the flue...
Exactly like this I guess...

Are there any legislation's against doing this (other than needing a gas safe engineer to install)? or can it be done cheaper than £145 that this kit costs?
MCH sell a "generic" kit for £35... would that be sufficient?

The first thing I will try is altering the PIR sensitivity, but I like to know all my options.
