Does anyone have personal experience with low priced flueless fires? I may need to stick one in as an emergency heat source to get through the winter. It is for a friend and I only do 2 rates; full rate and free. This will be labour of love so I do not want to get into complicated situations.
Do all of them need purpose ventilation, or are there exceptions?

The fact that it is flueless means it will require ventilation.Personally i steer well clear of these things.

My own opinion is that I would not fit one of these EVER, not even to a home that my most hated enemy owned.

They are a time bomb waiting to go off
